Elizabeth Flaim, 95, of Buck Mountain, passed away Sunday morning.

Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Damiano and Letizia (Ghirardini) Mattes.

She was educated in Mahanoy City schools and worked as a home maker.

She was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred E. Flaim, in 2007.

She is survived by her children, Alfred Flaim and his wife, Donna, Marie Majetsky and her husband, Joseph, Patricia Hanrahan and her husband, Timothy, Lettica Applegate and her husband, Edward, Michael Flaim and his wife, Jeanmarie, Angela Hughes and her husband, Richard; a sister, Josephine Gromalski; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Teresa of Calcutta Church, Mahanoy City, to be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher. Friends may call beginning at 9 a.m. at the church. Masks will be required to attend. Interment will follow in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Mahanoy Twp. Contributions in her name made to Advantage Home Health and Hospice, 1502 Route 61 Highway South, Pottsville, PA 17901, or St. Teresa of Calcutta Church, 614 W. Sadness on your passing. A life well lived. Aunt Lizzie, you bring happy memories as I look back growing up and visiting the Buck just about every Sunday in my youth. My condolences to all my cousins in the passing of your mom. God Bless.
