My thoughts and prayers are with Betty's friends and family at this time of loss. Betty impacted positively many lives throughout her nursing career and her volunteer work. She had a big heart. I first met Betty in 1989 when I was a first year medical resident at St Joseph's Hospital. She was always in control directing everyone in the OR, any question she was the go to person, she was serious and strict with her work ethic but despite the pressures in the OR and the busy schedule, she worked with a smile and put the new residents at ease when we were starting our surgical rotations and really didn't know where to go and felt kind of lost. She really was an angel in disguise, no doubt. Our world is a better place because of her.
Love and prayers and our deepest sympathy,
