Francis Eugene Hebor

1935 - 2021

Francis Eugene Hebor, 85, of Port Carbon, passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born June 7, 1935, in Saint Clair, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Singlor) Hebor.

Francis worked as a produce manager at A&P Markets and Giant. He was a member of the former Immacualte Conception Church, Saint Clair, and the St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Pittsburgh. Francis was an avid bowler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Juliann T. (Fenedick) Hebor, on June 12, 2005; four sisters, Margaret Rega, Florence Zemantauski, Helen Jablonski and Eleanor Hebor; two brothers, Edward and Michael Hebor.

Francis is survived by a daughter, Julia M. Reeder and her husband, Steve, Mill Hall; a son, Michael F. Hebor and his wife, Christine E., Pittsburgh; four grandsons, Patrick Miller, Huntington Beach, Calif., Brandon Miller, Fort Worth, Texas, and Luke and Benjamin Hebor, Pittsburgh; a sister, Evelyn Messina, Palo Alto; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Saint Clair, with Monsignor William Glosser officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon. Interment will be held in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Saint Clair.
