Gerald Canfield Obituary
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Patrick and Catherine Dillon Canfield.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He had worked as the caretaker for Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights, and then was employed for several years by Wenco Windows, until his retirement.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 25 years, the former Sharon McCole; his three daughters, Wendy, wife of Anthony Kowalick, Amanda, wife of Scott Karenda, and April Canfield and her fiance, Mike Williams; grandchildren, Bella Karenda, Kyden and Kolby Kowalick; sisters, Kathleen Kelly and Pat Gries; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Scripture service will be held at 1 p.m, with the Rev. Ron Minner officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. We were so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing.He was always so nice to us and always wanted to feed us when he was cooking on the grill...We have alot of good memories of him during our time shared in Lost Creek. May he rest in peace and know that he will watch over you from heaven.
