James Hartnett Jr., 75, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, at Geisinger St. Luke's, Orwigsburg.
James was born Oct. 15, 1946, in Pottsville, a son of the late Catherine (Zimmerman) and James Hartnett Sr.
He graduated from Pottsville High School, Class of 1966.
James served in the Army in the Vietnam War.
James owned Ray's Locksmith, Pottsville.
He was a member of the Freemasons.
He was the husband of Patricia (Casteel) Hartnett.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert.
James is survived by two daughters, Estelle Kerestus, of Minersville, and Jennifer Pardini, of Schuylkill Haven; a son, James Hartnett III, of Pottsville; two sisters, Mariann Fasnacht, of Tremont, and Dorothy Hartnett, of Pottsville. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

My sympathies to the family. Pat, we love you dearly. I will always cherish the moment I had with him and the fun we all had at dog shows. He was an amazing man and always so kind-hearted. He will sincerely be missed.
