Joan E. Avenoso, 90, a former Mahanoy City resident, passed away peacefully Thursday night at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 24, from St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, with the Rev. Kevin Gallagher, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends are invited to visit from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass on Monday at the church. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville.
