John Bebelheimer Obituary


October 26, 2010

John C. "Pete" Bebelheimer, 64, of Tremont, died Tuesday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street, Pottsville.

Born in Port Carbon, he was a son of the late Marion Wessner Bebelheimer and John C. Bebelheimer Sr.

He attended Pottsville schools and had been employed by Gold Mills, Pine Grove, and Kraftex, Auburn.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, having served in Vietnam with the 426th Signal Battalion.

Preceding him in death was an infant sister.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Rachel Zimmerman Bebelheimer; a son, Jeffrey and his wife, Linda, Pine Grove; two daughters, Jan Phillips and her husband, Leonard, Tremont, and Michelle Foster and her husband, Jimmy, Tremont; five grandchildren, Abigail Carl, Kaitlin and Kyle Bebelheimer, Courtney and Jesse Foster; two sisters, Jacqueline McDonald, Port Carbon, and Shirley Mokritsky and her husband, Edward, Tremont; two brothers, Edward Bebelheimer and his companion, Virginia, Pottsville, and Samuel Bebelheimer, Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Dutcavich Funeral Home, Minersville. Interment with military honors will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

I am so sorry to hear of Pete's passing.I pray for his family and friends to find comfort in the memories of good times with Pete. I think of how much I enjoyed hanging out at the Bebelheimer home as a kid.
