John Dabashinsky Obituary

John M. "Jack" Dabashinsky, 73, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday at home.

Born in Pottsville, July 30, 1939, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Mustitch Dabashinsky.

He was the husband of Donna J. Gehrig Dabashinsky.

Jack worked as a self-employed carpenter.

He was a member of the Stag Archery Club, Pottsville, and was the founder of Friedensburg Archery Club.

Jack was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Joseph Dabashinsky.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, John Dabashinsky and his wife, Donna; and daughters, Donna Goetz and her husband, Joseph, and Kim Wilson and her husband, Keith, all of Schuylkill Haven; seven grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Mitchell, Joshua, Amanda, Jacob and Emily Dabashinsky and Lacye and Cody Mullins; and a great-grandchild, Reagan Mitchell.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Douglas Cresswell officiating. A viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. To extend condolences to the family online, visit, www.gsesfuneralhomes.com. Donna, John, and Family,
