Lela M. Forry, 91, of Pine Grove, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born July 13, 1930, in Richland.

She graduated from Lebanon High School.

She was a daughter of the late Iram and Sadie (Hertzler) Lentz.

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond S. Forry Jr.; a son, Kevin D. Forry.

She was a homemaker and a member of Lebanon Church of the Brethren. She was very active in her church, serving as a nursery attendant, a church board member and a Nurture committee member. She was a faithful kitchen helper and Vacation Bible School volunteer. She also helped to prepare meals for the Lebanon County Christian Ministries.

In other activities, she was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of the Lebanon Friendship Fire Company, treasurer of Church Women United and a volunteer at Londonderry Village and the Red Cross.

She is survived by five children, Beverly Bode (Daniel), Vicki Krise, Cecelia Daubert (David), all of Pine Grove, Keith Forry, Virginia, and Michele Forry, Texas; grandchildren, Wyatt Bode, Erin Bode and Eliza Gifford; great-grandchildren, Allison Bode and Benjamin Bomberger.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 18 at Lebanon Church of the Brethren. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Kochenderfer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions to Heifer International. Rohland Funeral Home Inc. is entrusted with arrangements.
