Lewis Schillo Obituary

Lewis and Mary Swartz Schillo, Frackville will be laid to rest together after dying months apart earlier this year.

Lewis, 94, died July 31. He was a pilot in the Air Force and retired a major, having served for 29 years in the Air Force Reserves.

He was a manufacturer representative in the paper industry and was an owner in the Five Guys Corp.

Mary, 93, died May 4. She was a secretary in Philadelphia and a former secretary in Frackville High School.

They enjoyed traveling to many destinations and had given to many charities over the years.

They are survived by their daughter, Paula Schillo; his brother, Bert Schillo; her sister, Helen Lange.

A grave site memorial service will be held for Lewis and Mary Swartz Schillo at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, donations in their name can be made to the Goodwill Hose Company, 225 S. Balliet St., Frackville, PA 17931. Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, has charge of arrangements.

Paula I am so sorry for the loss of your mom and dad we were great friends for many years and spent many hours together at our home or going out to dinner my heart goes out to you may God bless you they are now in Gods care with my Barry
