Louis Drosey Obituary

Louis J. "Louie" Drosey, 91, of Mahanoy City, died Tuesday shortly after arrival at Saint Catherine Medical Center Fountain Springs.

He was born in Girardville.

Louie was an Air Force veteran serving during World War II, and was a self-employed contractor.

He was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church, Mahanoy City, and American Legion Post 74.

He enjoyed playing bingo on Tuesday evenings.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, the former Elizabeth Kufrovich; two daughters, Kathy Fegley and her husband, Joseph, Mahanoy City, and Chris Trusky and her husband, John, Frackville; two grandsons, Shane McCoog and John Trusky.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church. Interment will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass on Saturday at the church. There will not be any calling hours at the funeral home on Friday evening. Contributions in Louie's name to the American Cancer Society, 16 N. Fourth St., Minersville, PA 17954, would be appreciated by the family. David D. Jarrett Funeral Home, Mahanoy City, is in charge of arrangements.
