Mark William Smith, 64, of Middleport, passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, at home.
Born in Pottsville, on March 31, 1957, he was a son of David R. Smith, Schuylkill Haven, and the late Gaynell Mae (Corcoran) Smith.
Mark was a 1975 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School and earned an associate's degree from McCann School of Business in accounting.
He had been employed by American Argo as a supervisor and worked many years in MH/MR as a group home supervisor.
In addition to his father, Mark is also survived by a son, Joshua Smith, of Middleport; two daughters, Amanda Smith, partner of Joseph Brightman, York, and Ellen Smith, wife of James Spink, of Schuylkill Haven. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Austin Correll, Alexa Moyer, Kayli Moyer and Alyssa Spink; and a brother, David R. Smith II, husband of Darci, of Washington.
Services and interment will be privately held at the convenience of the family. The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to The Humane Society of the United States, 1255 23rd Street, NW, Suite 450, Washington, DC 20037. Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.

You will be missed more then you know!
