Michael Kroh Obituary
Born in Pottsville, Nov. 11, 1983, he was the son of Colleen Clews Kroh, Hazleton, and the late Francis Kroh, Ashland.
He attended North Schuylkill High School and was employed as a carpenter's assistant with Shoup Contracting, Ashland.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister, Lacey Welikonich and her companion, Antionne Minor, Hazleton; two brothers, Kevin Clews, Ashland, and Justin Kroh, Hazleton; an aunt, Barbara Ferrari, Ashland; nephew, Kato Minor, Hazleton; cousin, Joseph Ferrari, Ashland; girlfriend, Kelsey Shappell, Locustdale; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Eilleen Burke Clews, Ashland; paternal grandmother, Rosemary Kroh, Locustdale; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service at 7 p.m. Dec. 16 at Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland. Officiating will be the Rev. Dana Heckman Beil, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Ashland. Visitation with family will begin at 5 p.m. until service.

Colleen, Ron, Eileen and family, So sorry to hear about Michael. It is strange you never get to meet someone and his passing still saddens you. When you have children you put yourself in the place of a parent who loves and then loses one. I hope you can remember all the good times and put the sad ones and troubled ones behind you. Remember love leaves a memory no one can steal. I have heard what a handsome young man Michael was. I hope he is now in peace and you think of him as the child you loved. God Bless one and all!
