Missy R. Teijaro

Mary R. "Sissy" Teijaro, 64, of Frackville, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville.

She was the wife of John J. Teijaro Jr., for 44 years.

Born in Ashland, she was the daughter of Rose M. (Sewinsky) Bloschichak, Frackville, and the late Stephen Bloschichak. Sis was a homemaker and worked as a server at the Dutch Kitchen, of Frackville, for over 25 years, last working on Friday. Sissy was a dedicated mother, grandmother (Mimi), sister and daughter. She was a member of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, is one son, Dr. John R., husband of Alease Teijaro, San Diego, Calif.; one daughter, Tanya E. Teijaro, San Diego, Calif.; sister, Lisa, wife of Larry Bennett, Frackville; brothers, Dr. Andrew, husband of Karen Bloschickak, Mechanicsburg, Pa., Stephen, husband of Gloria Bloschichak, Frackville; four grandchildren, John P. Teijaro, Kalista R. Teijaro, Gianna Sadusky and Carlee Edwards, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Mark J Hummel Funeral Home, 48 N. Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville. Viewings will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
