Regina M. Hahn

1930 - 2022

Regina "Jean" M. Hahn, 91, of Tamaqua, passed on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at home with her daughters and granddog, Mindy, by her side.

She was the wife of the late William Hahn, who died in 1997.

Born in MaryD, on April 14, 1930, Jean was a daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Bradley) Stillwagner. She worked for Purling Mills, the Atlas and Wood Brothers, but would best be remembered for her breaded oysters when she worked for Anchor Deep. Jean was a former president of the tenant association at the High Rise and worked at the Tamaqua Historical Museum.

She was predeceased by a son, William Hahn, in 2020; a grandson, Jason Hahn, in 2014; a sister, Elizabeth Nortavage; and a brother, Robert Stillwagner.

She is survived by daughters, Marilyn Hahn and Alice Hahn; son, Harry Hahn; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Edward Stillwagner, of Cumbola; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend and beloved granddog, Mindy, whom Jean adored.
