Robert Dabashinsky Obituary

Robert J. Dabashinsky, 71, of Bethel, died Friday in Lebanon VA Medical Center.
He was the husband of Fay L. Smith Dabashinsky, with whom he would have celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary in June.
Born in Pottsville, Nov. 9, 1937, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Mustich Dabashinsky.
He was a veteran, having proudly served in the Army.
He was a retired supervisor for Pepsi-Cola, Reading, with more than 20 years of service.
He was a member of the Blue Mountain View Golf course and the Rehrersburg and Bethel fire companies.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Dabashinsky.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, John, and his wife, Donna Dabashinsky, Schuylkill Haven; a godson, John R. Dabashinsky; a brother-in-law, Ronald, and his wife, Shirley Smith, Fredericksburg; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rohland Funeral Home, Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Wolf's Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center Hospice, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.

Dear Fay,
May God be with you in this time of sorrow and may your wonderful memories of the life you and Bob shared bring you comfort. Bob was a great guy and everyone will miss him beyond words. Know that Bob is at peace in God's loving embrace and one sweet day you will meet again. Our hearts go out to you now and we are keeping you in our prayers in the days ahead.
