Roy Krell Obituary
Born in Tamaqua, a son of the late George F. and Eva Sparr Krell, he was also preceded in death by sisters, Constance Henry and Carol Krell; brothers, Donald E. Krell, John Krell, Oliver Krell, George Krell, Charles Krell and Robert Krell.
Roy had worked at the former Atlas Powder for more than 38 years, retiring as a lead man. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and running his bird dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, M. Jeanne Buhl Krell; son, Roy H. Krell Jr. and his wife, Angelina, Cranesville; daughter, Kimberly (Krell) Schroeder, wife of Scott, Farmington, Mich.; sister, Mary Brannun,Tamaqua; grandchildren, Matthew, Hunter and Aubrey Krell, Ethan and Daniel Schroeder; nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, PA 18252. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.griffithsfuneralhomes.com.
