Victor Keszkowski Obituary

Victor J. Keszkowski, 88, of West Main Street, Bloomsburg, passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Beaver Township, March 4, 1922, he was a son of the late Stanley and Maryann Pajewski Keszkowski.

He spent the past 17 years in Bloomsburg and had previously lived in R.D. 3 Bloomsburg and Catawissa.

Victor was an Army veteran, having served in World War II.

He was a retired highway construction worker for Sardoni Construction.

He was a member of St. Columba Roman Catholic Church, Bloomsburg. He also was an avid hunter and enjoyed joining his friends for lunch.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Bolinsky, and brothers, Stanley, Charles and Frank Keszkowski.

Surviving are four sisters, Antoinette "Tessie" Palushock and her husband, Joseph, Fern Glen, Florence Grausam, Danville, Clara Zanoline, Berwick, and Sister Jeanette Maria Keszkowski, Shenandoah; a brother, Joseph Keszkowski Sr. and his wife, Rose Marie, Catawissa; nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from Harman Funeral Homes and Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Weston. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Christian Wake service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Columba Roman Catholic Church, 342 Iron St., Bloomsburg, PA 17815-1824 or Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 554 Main St., Weston, PA 18256.
