Stanwood - Edena was born in Denver, Colorado to Ruby and Ed Boatman. She Graduated from Lutheran High School in 1963.

Edena attended Colorado State University where she met her husband, Jim Seaton. They were married in 1965 in Denver. Their son Phil was born in 1966 in Denver, and daughter Andrea in 1968 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

A corporate career for Jim took them to New Mexico, Colorado, New York, California, Washington and Europe. This allowed them to explore new places and meet new friends.

Edena's faith was a constant in her life. Moving provided the opportunity to find a new church family with each relocation. She got involved in music, worship, prayer and healing ministries. Her ability to listen and seek God's word was a gift that she shared with many people.

Edena is survived by her husband Jim, brother Bill (Di), son Phil (Jayne), and daughter Andrea (Quinn). She also has numerous grand and great-grandchildren, Renee, Brittany, Haley, Jake, Bobby, Hailey, Toby, Nathan, Corbin and Hunter.

Thank you to family and friends, near and far, for your love, prayers and support during this time.
