Lauretta Madsen Obituary

Wenatchee - Lauretta Marie Madsen passed on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024 in Wenatchee, Washington. She was born on November 11, 1955 in Palo Alto, California to Nadine and John Coatney. She loved just being with her friends and family. Golf, snow skiing, water skiing, and anything remotely competitive were also things her heart loved. But nothing could touch on her love of her grandchildren and each minute she got to spend with them.

Lauretta is survived by her partner and husband Jack of 55 years, son TJ, daughter Shelby (Kevin) Schreiner, and four grandchildren, Makia, Brady, Delaney, and Easton. She is also survived by her sister Kathleen (Joe), brother Martin (Faye), brother Grant (Mily), and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor at Hidden Meadows, Snohomish Wa, on May 17th at 2pm.

I am so sorry to hear of Lauretta's passing. I worked with her at Dr. Baker's office. She was a classy gal with a really cute laugh. Peace be with you all. Jeanne Christie

I feel honored that Lauretta considered me a dear friend. She set a wonderful example of a genuinely caring and loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend. Her example is her legacy.
