Paul Werlink

Mesa, AZ - Paul Werlink, 79, of Mesa, Arizona, died at home on November 3, 2025.

Born January 25, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to John and Myrtle Werlink, he graduated from Gateway High School in Monroeville and attended college. In November 1967 he married Betty Gartz. The couple moved to the Seattle area in 1969 when Paul took a position with Boeing. They lost their first child, Karl, in December 1969 and later had two daughters, Rebecca Fowler and Melinda Werlink. The family lived in Renton, Washington, and later moved to Camano Island, Washington. Betty passed away in 1995.

Paul married Margaret McNees Dibble in October 1997. After retirement they relocated to Mesa, Arizona, where they enjoyed baseball spring training, golf, and pickleball. Paul maintained lifelong interests in baseball and motorcycle riding and was active in his church and local coffee club.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret McNees Werlink; daughters Rebecca Fowler and Melinda Werlink; step-sons Wayne Dibble and Bryan Dibble; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His ashes will be interred at Camano Island Cemetery, Camano Island, Washington. Services will be held at a later date.
