Steven R. "Steve" Pearson

1954 - 2022

Camano Island - On December 26, 2022, while in the company of his children and grandchildren, Steven (Steve) Pearson, at the age of 68, crossed the finish line to be with his savior Jesus Christ.

Steve was born October 26, 1954, to Clarence "Cap" and Marjorie Pearson. He married the love of his life Bette Pearson on April 20th, 1979 and together they raised 4 children. They owned and operated a well-respected financial services business in the Stanwood and Camano community, and always happily served their local church community.

Steve was a planner, a problem solver, the most gentle spirit, and always saw the best in people, giving them the benefit of the doubt. He was practical, never stressed, thoughtful, provisioner of fatherly wisdom, pun master, storyteller, jokester, doting husband, handyman, cook, engineer, mechanic, Seahawks fanatic, golf enthusiast, a friend to all. A true disciple of Jesus Christ, who was caring, giving, kind, full of grace and walked in love which poured out to his family, and those around him.

Steve is survived by his children Kathryn (Clint) Horne of Severn, MD., David (Susan) Hansen of Bow, WA., Michael Hansen and Nicholas Pearson both of Camano Island; granddaughters Sabrina (George Ruo) Hansen, Maranda (Russell) Cleveland, Andre'a Hansen, Marissa (Wyatt) Nichols and Macaela Hansen; great-grandchildren Aydann, Karson, Adelle, Charlotte, Brooks, Blakely, Beau, Bennett, Ethan, Lila, Ella Mae, and Sophia

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Clarence and Marjorie Pearson, step-mother Betty Pearson, sister Elizabeth, granddaughter Chrystal Hansen and his amazing wife Bette Pearson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4550 Montgomery Ave, Suite 1100N, Bethesda, MD 20814.

A memorial service to celebrate Steve's life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, March 26th at Camano Senior and Community Center 606 Arrowhead Road Camano Island, WA 98282.
