VAN JACOBSON Obituary
Van Howard Jacobsen (Skeeter), 58, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 21, 2018 at the home he and his brother shared on Camano Island. He was born in Edmonds on December 18, 1959 to Robert Milton and Shirley Jean Jacobsen. He graduated from Stanwood High School and went on to become one of the greatest mechanics around. There was nothing that he couldn't fix, from a car to a lawn mower, if it didn't run when he got it, it would sure purr when he returned it. He always had a love for muscle cars and drove some of the nicest ones around. He also crashed a few of those beauties! He had the biggest heart, the kindest soul, the most amazing smile and a contagious laugh.
He is survived by his two children, Tara and Jacob, his three siblings, Richard, Judy and Todd, many nieces, nephews and countless friends.
His family held a private gathering in his memory and the celebration of an amazing man whom we all miss and love so much!

I remember riding the school bus with Skeeter. Then as an adult around Stanwood. He was a kind and funny guy. I´m sure he is missed by many.

Forever friends.

I was shocked to see of Van's passing. I remember riding the school bus as kids, to seeing him around Stanwood as adults. He had a very kind heart. Sorry he had to leave so soon.
