Daniel "Danny" R. Arnette, Jr.

October 15, 1947 - September 25, 2025

DILLON - Daniel "Danny" R. Arnette, Jr., 77, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the McLeod Hospice House.

Funeral services were held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 27, 2025, at New Life Assembly with burial in Pyerian Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. prior to the service at the church.

Born in Mullins, SC, October 15, 1947, he was the son of the late Daniel R. Arnette, Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Stafford Arnette. He was the widower of the late Jenette M. Arnette, and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He owned and operated a convenience store and small engine repair shop. He was a pastor at East Marlboro Baptist Church.

Survivor include his daughter, Angie Tanner (Jimmy) of Dillon; son, Brad Arnette (Kelly Hayes) of Dillon; grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Joshua Tanner, Payne, Jenna, Jessa Rae, Rylee Arnette, & Blaine Hayes; and sister, Madge Rogers of Dillon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel & Sarah Arnette, Sr. and brother, Bonell Arnette.
