Bazen
Mrs. Helen Miles Bazen, 82, of Johnsonville, wife of Badger R. Bazen, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Bazen was born on May 5, 1941, in Florence County, daughter of the late Ralph Perry Miles and Margaret Brannon Miles. She was a member of Johnsonville First Baptist Church. Mrs. Bazen was a vital part of the family business as she took on the role of secretary. She was a giving, loving and generous lady.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Badger R. Bazen of Johnsonville; children, Glenn B. (Wendy) Bazen of Pamplico and Jeff R. (Stephanie) Bazen of Johnsonville; grandchildren, Jessica K. (Aubrey) McFaddin of Lake City, Andrew J. (Kerri) Bazen of Germany, Shaina E. (Harrison) Hawkins of Florence, Reed Bazen and Ross Bazen, both of Pamlico; great grandchildren, Easton McFaddin and Maddox McFaddin, both of Lake City; brother, Gerald Miles of Johnsonville; sister, Juanita Levitre of Florence.
Mrs. Bazen was preceded in death by siblings, Wayne Miles and Carolyn Bingham.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, November 10, 2023, at Beulah Free Will Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home to follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Friday, November 10, 2023, at Beulah Free Will Baptist Church, 235 West Bazen Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
