James Bell Obituary
July 3, 1944 - December 6, 2024
James R. "Jim" Bell died on December 6, 2024, after a brief illness. He was a long time attorney and attorney of the City of Florence for many years.
He graduated from the Citidel, Charleston, SC; served in the Military as an officer in Germany and graduated from the University of South Carolina where he received a Juris Doctor degree. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvin Bell and Anna Louise Raper Bell; his wife, Ann Coleman Bell; and his close friend, Billy Campbell. He is survived by a brother, Robert "Bob" Arvin Bell; a sister, Leslie Bell Hobbs (Jimmy) from Fayetteville, NC and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Florence area Humane Society.
