Lynda E. "Lynda Jean" Cox

June 28, 1945 - September 25, 2025

Lynda E. "Lynda Jean" Cox, 80, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

She was born in Johnsonville, SC, the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Eaddy and Cora Lee Godwin Eaddy. Mrs. Cox was an avid nature and animal lover. She enjoyed working in the yard and taking care of her beloved cats. She enjoyed dancing and watching family movies. Mrs. Cox loved spending time with her grandchildren, who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, of 35 years, Charles Anthony "Tony" Cox; brothers, Donald Eaddy and Marshall Eaddy.

Surviving are her daughter, Kasie L. (Jarrod) Cox-Timmons; grandchildren, Kannon I. Timmons and Jacksyn K. Timmons; sisters-in-law, Debbie Eaddy and Gwen Eaddy; and brothers-in-law, Bennie (Brenda) Cox and Mike (Elizabeth) Cox.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at Garden of Devotion Cemetery, in Johnsonville, SC.
