Beryl KNUDTSEN Obituary
1942 - 2014
With heavy hearts, the loving family of Beryl announce her peaceful passing at the South Health Campus on November 3, 2014. Beryl is survived by her sons Mark (Rene') of Robsart and Keith (Carm) of Calgary and cherished grandsons: Korey and Kelly, as well as four brothers and one sister. Beryl was predeceased by her loving husband Ken and one sister. Beryl's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the South Health Campus for the care given to Beryl. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home, on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Donations in Beryl's name may be made directly to The Alberta Cancer Foundation, #710, 10123 - 99 Street, Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1. To the Knudtsen family
It is with heavy hearts that we read about the passing of Beryl. We were fortunate enough to meet many of you when our son Zack won the Ken Knudsten Memorial Spirit Award through the Trails West Hockey Association. Beryl was one sweet lady and her love of Ken and her family was very obvious. After winning the award, Zack and I kept in touch updating Beryl on Zack's progress in hockey, school and so on. I can vividly remember returning the trophy to Beryl's house after we had it for a few months. What i thought would be a 5 minute drop off turned into a very enjoyable hour visit with tea at the house. You all are very lucky to have had such a sweet mother and grandmother. We are away for the service, but will be thinking of you all.
