A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, October 16, at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph for Clarence E. "Bob" Chamberlain, 90, of St. Cloud, formerly of Okoboji, IA, who died October 11, 2015, peacefully at home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Bob was born in Newton, IA, on June 15, 1925. He graduated from Spencer High School. He served in the US Army from 1943 - 1946, in the Pacific Theatre. Bob married Arline Burson on August 31, 1947, at Gull Point on Lake Okoboji, IA. Bob and Arline had three children and moved to Minneapolis where he worked in Sales for his entire career. Bob enjoyed travel, working in his yard, playing cards, and dancing to big band music.
Bob is survived by his wife of 68 years, Arline; children John "Jeff" Chamberlain of Temecula, CA, DeAnne (Dean) Budde of Avon, MN; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son Bradley in 1985, sister Jean, and brother Harley.
