I am surprised that seven years have passed since Clint left us. I always appreciated his great work on our Forest Lake Industrial Development group. He was a leader in find new clients and a way to help them come to our city. I trust that he continues to rest in peace.

I met Clint and Rae in their golden years at Atonement Lutheran. Rae and my mother were good friends. After the ladies passed, Clint befriended my father, who was suffering from dementia.Clint was a man with a heart of gold. Always a smile always had a story to tell and a man who truly loved life. We shared many meals and communions together at my fathers home, the three of us. Clint would serve communion and provide the fish for dinner!Cooking and communing with Clint and my father, the love and fellowship and laughter that Clint brought to our household is what true Christian love and service is all about. To Clint's family know that he was loved.

Although I have not seen Clint for some time, I recall our several years working together on the Forest Lake Industrial Development Board which was charged with bringing industries to the city for its industrial, park. He was such a go-getter in all his activities. I miss knowing that he is available for emails now. I express my belated sorrows to Clint's family. May he rest in peace.
