Jennifer Montag Obituary
Freeport - Jennifer B. Montag, age 39 of Freeport, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 31 at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose with Rev. Marvin Enneking officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home in Melrose.
Jennifer Beth Bushman was born September 29, 1979 in Melrose, Minnesota to Wayne and Darleen (Poepping) Bushman. She graduated from Albany High School in 1998 and continued her education at St. Cloud Vocational Technical College; graduating in 2000 as a surgical technician. Jennifer was united in marriage to Jamie Montag on October 16, 2004 in Cold Spring. She was currently employed at Cintas in St. Cloud. Jennifer was a loving wife, doting mother, devoted daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed by many.
Survivors include her husband, Jamie Montag of Freeport; children, Austin Bueckers of St. Joseph, Ava and Anya Montag both at home; step-daughter, Alley Montag of Alaska; father, Wayne (Ceil) Bushman of Melrose; mother, Darleen Bushman of Albany; father and mother-in-law, Wayne (Pat) Montag of Rice; grandmother, Mildred Sand of New Munich; sister and brothers, Cori (Chris) Gazda of White Bear Lake, Chris (Tracy) Bushman of Cold Spring, Michael (Sarah) Bushman of Albany, and Chad Bushman of Freeport; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her three cats.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Pauline Bushman; and grandfather, Joseph Poepping.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Melrose.
