Joan "Frances" Kronenberg, 77 year old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26 at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Father Joseph Herzing officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31 at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the church. The Parish Prayers will be held at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Christian Mothers Rosary at 5:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Joan Kronenberg was born January 16, 1937 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to the late Andrew and Clara (Weling) Kronenberg. She was raised in St. Cloud where she attended St. Cloud Cathedral School graduating with the class of 1955. She lived in St. Cloud for 50 years. She then moved to Royalton and lived at the Maranatha Apartments for a few years. She then moved to Little Falls, where she resided at the time of her death. Joan worked for Hinkenmeyer Grocery and Dairy Land Farms for seven years. She then worked for 25 years as a nurse's assistant at the Country Manor in Sartell and the Good Shepherd Home in Sauk Rapids. Joan enjoyed knitting, crocheting, candle making, growing herbs and living a healthy life style. She volunteered at the Salvation Army Food Kitchen in St. Cloud. Her most glorious blessing was praying at the John Paul II Adoration Chapel for where she was a coordinator for five years. Joan was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls.

Left to Cherish Her Memory are her sister, Shirley (Robert) Spoden of St. Cloud, MN; special friends, Marlene (Bob) Knopik of Little Falls, MN and Jan (Clint) Kimman of Pierz, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Clara Kronenberg and a brother, Robert Kronenberg.

I remember well stopping over and visiting with Joan and her mother when i was growing up on 13th Avenue South. Its been a lot of years but many good memories. Rest in peace my friend.

I shoveled sidewalks and mowed lawn for Joan and her Mom on 13th avenue south in St Cloud, when I was a kid.She was always so kind and gentle.

Joan was best friends with my mom, Marilyn Cruser in High school and all of their lives.They are both now at peace. Joan had great faith and lived the way of Christ. I was able to be privileged to know her and have her as my confirmation sponsor. God bless and take care to Joan family and friends
