June 6, 1986 - October 19, 2014
Joshua Earl Landwehr, age 28 of Big Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 19, 2014. Visitation will be Thursday October 23, 2014 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monti- cello. Further visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Friday. Funeral services will be Friday October 24, 2014 at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 11185 27th Avenue SE, Becker. Rev. Greg Koepsell will officiate. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.
Josh was born on June 6, 1986 in Coon Rapids to Mel and Kathy (Johnson) Landwehr. He graduated from Big Lake High School in 2005, and then graduated from University of Wisconsin Stout with a BS in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. Josh was loving, kind and caring. He had been a lifelong MS Lutheran, and a member of Alive Lutheran Church. Josh loved spending time with family, and especially enjoyed being with his sister Sara and her family. Josh was an avid sports fan, both watching and playing them. He loved spending time at the cabin, fishing and family vacations, including deep sea fishing with his dad. He found great joy with his yellow lab, Cooper.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents Earl and Dorothy Landwehr and Dareld Johnson. He is survived by his parents, Mel and Kathy; sister Sara (Adam) Stevenson and their daughter Kylie; grandmother Marian Johnson; aunts and uncles Mike (Debbie) Landwehr, Ron (Shelley) Johnson, Pam (Greg) Loidolt; and cousins Melissa, Joe, Aubrey, Trevor and Bryce.

Sara and Family-
What a sad time. I knew Josh through Sara as we played several sports and graduated together. Josh was a great brother and supported all his friends. I'm sorry for the pain you are all enduring. Please know you have friends and family thinking and praying for you!
