Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, February 19th, 2016, at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Peter P. Kloskowski, age 87, of St. Cloud, who died on Sunday at his home.  Rev. Greg Lieser will officiate. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.  Friends may call on Thursday between 4:00-8:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and on Friday one hour prior to services at the Church.  Parish Prayers will be at 5:00 PM followed by the Masonic Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.

 Peter was born April 12th, 1928 in St. Cloud to Norbert and Margaret (Kroll) Kloskowski.  He served in the US Navy 1946-1950.  He married Dolores Schwartz on November 7th, 1950 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud.  He was employed as an Engineer for the Burlington Northern Railroad for 41 years. He retired in 1993.  Pete was a gunsmith for over 40 years in St. Cloud owning the Silver Spur Gun Shop out of his home.  Pete was a life-member of the NRA, member of Moose Lodge 1400, Waite Park American Legion Post 428, North Star Masonic Lodge # 23, where he was very involved at the local, state and national levels.  Pete was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

 Survivors include his wife Dolores, children, Margot Zimara (Robert) Moorhead, Michael Kloskowski, Sauk Rapids, Marie Sherrard (Chris), Rosemount, Mark Kloskowski (Andrea) St. Cloud, Matthew Kloskowski (Jane) St. Cloud, grandchildren, Hanneli, Brandee, Briana, Russell, Paul, Kyle, Cameron,  Bryce, Logan, Heather, Maisie, Lane, and Paige, great-grandchildren, Calista, Joey, Mia, Zoey, William, Madison, Vincent, Ethan, Lucas, Kyle Jr, Grace, Cayden, and Harper, brother and sisters, Florence Corrigan (Joe) Redmunds, CA, James Kloskowski, Tucson, AR, Martha Plombon, New Hope, and Julianna Heveron (Bill), Portland, OR.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandsons Erich and Dalton Sherrard, sister Dolores Kloskowski, and brother Phillip Kloskowski.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Shriners Children's Hospital.

Pete, you are the best. The work on the family 1894 Winchester 30-30 was simply the finest helping to put it to use in our family for the 5th generation. This gun was passed around during the Great Depression of the 1930's and put meat on the table where there would have been none without this rifle.
