Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond, MN for Richard "Dick" Rausch, age 63, who died at his home. Burial will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Cemetery, Richmond, MN.
Relatives and friends may call after 11:00 a.m., Friday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond.
Dick was born in Richmond, MN to Jerry and Joanne (Butala) Rausch. He loved to play the drums and to teach and inspire others to do the same. Dick enjoyed being with his friends and loved to laugh and joke. He will be greatly missed by many.
Survivors include his mother, Joanne; sister, Patti (Brad) McMurray and his niece, Mia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry.

Dick, I hope JoAnn is bringing sandwiches to the basement in heaven so you don't have to stop practicing to eat lunch. You were greatly loved by Tom and Kent and now you are all together ( much too soon). My sympathy to your sister.

The heavens gained a funny guy with a few drum sticks. Thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. He will be missed. But what a legacy he left. "Sport Shack Cracker Jacks, ain't that swell! WOO!"

Sorry to hear about the loss of Dickie, a very funny, interesting person. When I was an assistant basketball coach, I would say one word, "character", and let's not forget his life with the Cracker Jacks.

Dick was a great performer funny fellow always enjoyed seeing him with The Cracker Jacks, in many parades and other functions.

Such fun to work with at Schmitt Music in St. Cloud. He was always making us laugh. And oh my goodness - the talent!! The angels are dancing to his beat for sure.
