Kathy Suzanne Jenkins, age 55, died Tuesday September 21, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield following a brief illness.
Born February 4, 1966 in Lansing, MI to David L. Hoff and Beverly J. (Pralle) Bastian, she was a resident of Ashland, KY until moving to Shelby in 2020. A 1984 graduate of R.B. Stall High School in SC, she later obtained her masters degree in business administration with an emphasis on health care from DeVry University. She had retired as an EMT for many different states after 15 years of service. Kathy enjoyed reading, quilting, watching NASCAR, fishing, camping and volunteering as a firefighter.
She is survived by her beloved husband Brian Jenkins whom she wed on June 10, 2007; children Raymond (Ana) Jenkins of Columbus, Ryan (Charity) Mayers of Olive Hill, KY and Saree (Emil) Brandley of Oxnard, CA; grandchildren, Kolten, Felicity, Madelyn, Samuel and E.J; siblings Steven Hoff and Scott Hoff of SC and David Hoff, Jr. of CA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her father David L. Hoff.
Friends may call the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby Friday, September 24, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Saturday from the funeral home. Pastor Phil Fannin will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the local Masonic Lodge 350 at 21 E. Main Street, Shelby, Ohio, 44875.
