Nancy Joan Mann, 74, of Tiro, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family after a 15 year battle with Parkinson's disease and chronic pain from a surgery complication for the last 7 years. She was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on August 13, 1947 to the late Frederick "Fritz" and Bridget (Volk) Ankney.
Nancy worked with the school lunch program at both St. Bernard Catholic School and North Auburn School for over 20 years. Her main priority was making sure her family was taken care of; she proudly raised her three children, never missing a game or activity and continuing this commitment into her grandchildren's lives. In her spare time, she loved shopping, volunteering at Mercy Willard Hospital or spending time with her close friends, known as the FAB 5.
Those left to cherish Nancy's memory are her loving husband, Charles Mann, whom she married on April 15, 1967; three children and their spouses, Ted and Denise Mann, Abbie and Mike Adams and Amanda and Jason Barnett; and seven grandchildren, who lovingly called her Nana, Morgan, Brandon, Lauren, Grant, Ethan, Aiden and Adelyn.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
