Tammy (Walton) Hall, age 58, passed away on August 5, 2024, peacefully at her home in Plymouth, Ohio, surrounded by her loved ones.
Tammy was born on February 6, 1966, to Estill and Nola (Faye) Walton in Shelby, Ohio. She was a lifelong area resident, spending the last 28 years in Plymouth. She attended Shelby City Schools graduating from both Shelby Senior High School and Pioneer Career and Technology Center in the class of 1984. Tammy married the love of her life, Mark Hall, whom she wed on November 19, 1983.
Tammy worked a number of different jobs in her life, before finishing her career working for the State of Ohio for the Ohio Department of Job and Family services, where she was employed for over 10 years. In her free time, Tammy enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her garden and flower beds. Like a kid at heart, Tammy absolutely loved playing in the snow. She was also a crafty woman that had a talent for making rubber stamps and she enjoyed using her artistic talent for exploring photography, capturing photographs of nature scenes and memories of her precious grandchildren and family.
Faith played a pivotal role in Tammy's life. She was saved at a young age, accepting the gift of salvation on April 3, 1977 at Tiro United Baptist Church. This would be the place where Tammy would attend many youth activities growing up, including church camp and the crusades. Later, as an adult, she became a member of the Shelby First Free Will Baptist Church, where she helped serve until her passing. All in all, Tammy spent 47 years saved as a follower of Christ. Tammy's family would like to share a favorite and comforting passage.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phillipians 4:6-7
Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Mark Hall; her two children; Tara (Matt) Bates of Shelby; and Matthew (Kendra) Hall of Shelby; five grandchildren, Garrett, Emmett, Beckett, and Toby Bates, Matthias Hall, and another one on the way; one sibling, Linda Walton, mother Nola (Faye) Walton of Shelby and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lee and Tim Walton.
