Audrey Dunaway Obituary

PORTSMOUTH — Audrey Dunaway, 80, of Oxford Avenue, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Born June 28, 1928, in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late John and Sadie (McGuigan) Legere. She was a resident of Portsmouth for many years.

Mrs. Dunaway was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and she enjoyed dancing.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jack Dunaway; her son, David Sean Dunaway of Portsmouth; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, John and Raymond Legere.

SERVICES: Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Church, 2075 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Portsmouth. Arrangements are by the Farrell Funeral Home, 684 State St., Portsmouth.
