Betty Sullivan Obituary
Betty graduated from Spaulding High School in 1963. She attended Plymouth State University and the University of New Hampshire. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and went on to earn her Masters in Education. She began teaching in the Rochester, N.H. school district in 1972 and became Principal of Allen Street and Maple Street School. In 1985 she pursued a successful career in real estate which she continued up until the time of her passing.
Betty was preceded by her parents Geraldine Reynolds and Ralph Fisher and her brother Robert Shaw, Jr. She is survived by her husband Robert Sullivan; her sons Doug Wolters and his wife Melissa of Illinois, David Wolters and his wife Belinda of Rochester; her daughters Danielle Wolters and her husband Jason Irish of Rochester, Mandy Bickford and her husband Ben of Rochester; her sisters Gloria Jacques, Roberta Gorman, Donna Shawkilbury. She had nine grandchildren.
SERVICES: There will be no services held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cochecho Valley Humane Society, https://cvhsonline.org/donations/make-a-donation or the Boys & Girls Club of America, https://donate.bgca.org/maindonationform.

We are going to miss Betty dearly. She was a great friend and wonderful real estate lady. We have known her over the 30 years that she had sold many, many homes for us. She was someone you could just stop in her office for nothing and visit for hours and talk about anything. She new her job and did it well. She will be missed, and we will always remember her as we drive by her office. Our condolences and prayers go out to her family and husband Bob.

Betty, was my Fifth Grade principal and she made sitting outside her office worth the wait, her kind and direct communication helped through middle school, then when I became a Realtor she was the one of first talented veteran Realtors to show me patience and the ropes of RE... We worked for Betty at Remax in Rochester for several years. She was the most generous and sincere person in the business.
Above all she was a great mentor and teacher of the business. She wilfully taught us all the trade knowledge she had acquired and was very influential to our success.
Our hearts and prayers go out to all of her family.

I was so saddened to hear of Betty's passing. I'm so very sorry for your loss!! Our family was actually just talking about her last weekend, not knowing she was gone...She was my 4th grade teacher/homeroom. She did her best to bring the "me" out of a very shy girl & she was one of my favorite teachers ever!! She got my brother as a student, then finally my sister, Dawn, who ended up babysitting for her. Imagine my surprise, years later when she was the agent to sell my Memere's home! So when I wanted to buy a home, l went to her!! After my Dad died, she sent me flowers & a nice card. She knew generations of members in my family & she always had some happy memory to share. I will miss her energetic, happy, sweet personality - she definitely epitomized good things coming in small packages!! The world will be less of a place without her here. Thank you for everything you've given to me & done for me, you will be dearly missed ~

I remember the good times we had at Spaulding and outside of school as well. Back then we were so young, carefree and everything seemed so magical. It was the best era ever to grow up in.
