David Andrew Obituary
An art historian specializing in architecture, Prof. Andrew won acclaim as a gifted scholar, teacher, author, and capable, humane administrator at the University of New Hampshire, which he served from 1976 to 2008. A talented pianist and composer, Prof. Andrew's wide-ranging intellect, precision of expression, and wit made him a delightful conversationalist. His many interests included aviation, astronomy, radio broadcasting, and world travel. Most of all, he enjoyed sharing ideas with friends in the beauty of the Andrew/Murphy home. His legacy lives on in the lives of the many he taught and loved.
Tributes can be made to Washington University Graduate School in St. Louis, Missouri.

Great loss. David Andrews was my teacher, role model, mentor, Ally in Regent s College in the 1990s. A truly good teacher with immense knowledge about his subject. He even reviewed my book and corresponded with me when I was living in Pakistan.

To my superb Uncle David! You were an inspiration to us all and your intellect and kind leadership helped all who sought your counsel. I viewed you not only as a superb uncle, but as a grand mentor to help navigate some of life's challenges.
I'm so grateful that Georgeann came into your life and you two found your loves of your lives together. I'm also grateful that I've reconnected with your fantastic daughter Susan!
I will see you again and seek your counsel once more...in the great beyond.
