I only recently heard of David's passing.
He was my lawyer and treated me as a friend through his work with me. He carefully guided me through a very difficult divorce, offering council and care as needed. He was a great human being.
Eileen, I offer you and your family my belated condolences.

David was like a second father to me. He was our neighbor for many many years. I have fond memories of Playing their piano in the sunroom, Sunday football games in our yard, The Lobster costume that won so many contests, Having long talks with Jane in the kitchen, Yacht Outragous that he owned with my dad, my dad and him pretending to fish out at boon island when the boat was in our backyard (Mrs Parshley didnt appreciate it). I know that my mom and dad were there to greet him as well as his loving wife Jane. I never realized how much his death would affect me and it hurts just as much as when I lost my Dad. Rest in Peace David. You made a huge impact on everyone who met you. Thank you for being you! David and Whitney, Thank you for being my other "siblings" growing up. You all made me who I am today. I love you all and grieve with you. May god bless you all.

David was a friend of my family. Though my family at the time went through multiple changes. He was there for me during a heart breaking time in my life. He was a friend and my lawyer. He guided me through the worse experience in my life but as he would often say in his quite soft manner there will another door that will open for you soon, I know. And as foretold, another door did open with happiness and love. Thank you David. God bless you. My prays are with you and for your family.

I only knew David for a short while but he helped me out patiently, courteously and as a gentleman. I have fond memories of David Ott.

David did everything with such flair and commitment, a very excellent friend and devoted father. I feel blessed that our paths crossed. David will be greatly missed by anyone who knew him. (Photo is of his mom and some of the members of his "Kitchen Cabinet.")

David was a wonderful person and a dear friend. Many years ago I met him because i was new to town and needed a attorney to write a will for me, his name was Ott and so was mine at the time so i chose him and its a laugh we always had. He will be sadly missed.
