John Templeton Obituary
He was the beloved son of Thomas N. Templeton of Hampton, N.H., and Nancy Seaver of York, Maine, loving father of Ashlee Locke, dear brother of Joseph L. Templeton of Hampton, N.H., and Thomas N. Templeton Jr., and his wife Melanie Mason of Danvers, Uncle of Thomas N. Templeton III and Matthew Shay Templeton, also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
John grew up in Malden and attended Malden Catholic High School where he participated in Football, Baseball, and basketball. He then went on to Notre Dame College in Manchester, N.H., where he was the leading rebounder and scorer for the basketball team in his sophomore year, and also coached girl's softball. John was an avid pool player and racing handicapper. He enjoyed all the Boston home team sports and worked as a mortgage loan officer and also for a collection agency.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held from the A.J.Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., Malden, on Thursday, October 27, from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations in John's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.For directions and guestbook visit www.spadaforafuneral.com.
