Mark Goedecke Obituary

KITTERY, Maine — Mark H. Goedecke, 70, of Manson Avenue, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at his home.

Mark was born on Jan. 31, 1937, in Hingham Mass., the son of Mark and Marguerite (Ritter) Goedecke. He was a member of the Masonic naval lodge 184 A.F. and A.M., and the American Legion in both Waterville and Eliot. Mark was very proud of his work as a sheet metalist and his involvement with Operation Blessing.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Dianne (Williams) Goedecke; his daughter, Darline; his sons, Mark, Craig, James and Steven; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his brother, Fred, and sisters, Ruth and Grace.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Beechwood Congregational Church, 51 Church St., Cohasset, Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Operation Blessing, 600A Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, NH 03802-4069. Arrangements are entrusted to the J.S. Pelkey Funeral Home of Kittery.
