Richard Day Obituary

Richard B. Day
Portsmouth - Richard B. Day, 94, of Portsmouth, died May 22, 2021 at Webster at Rye.
He was born in 1926, in Laconia, NH to Burton and Edna (Lord) Day.
He served in the US Navy at the end of World War II and again during the Korean Conflict as a Fireman First Class.
At his request, no services will be held. He would be pleased if you would go out and have a lobster roll, a plate of fried oysters or a BLT and raise a beer in his memory. If you are so inclined, make a donation to a charity of your choice.
His family would like to thank the staff in the Memory Care Unit at Webster at Rye for their loving, compassionate care of Pa over the past three years.

Hi Dick... today I´m mowing my lawn and drinking a beer while planting my tomatoes. Fond memories and a little nostalgic

So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Didn't know about oysters, but we enjoyed a nice Chinese dinner and a car ride.

I will be happy to have a lobster roll and a boiler maker in my friends honor this weekend. So sorry for your loss Pat and Deb. He was a good man in so many ways.
