Barbara was a caring lady and smiling a lot even in pain. We were in the same guild at church and she was an efficient treasurer of our guild. It does not seem she has been gone for more than a year. I miss here a lot.

So sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. We were Local Area Network (LAN) Administrators for the Dept. of Labor for years. She in Seattle and I in Atlanta. We would often see each other when all 10 of us LAN folks would gather somewhere with our national office counterparts for training and/or conferences. From the very 1st time I met her she became the self-appointed 'Mother-Hen" to myself and another LAN Administrator (un-named). Bless her heart, she did her very best to keep us out of trouble. Much love and respect. RIP Barbara!

I enjoyed working with Barbara Marasco at the US Labor Dept for many years. She was a LAN manager and helped me with computer issues many times. Barbara was a kind person who will be missed. Rest in Peace, Barbara.

Barbara was my gentle, soft spoken aunt who always made an effort to let the people in her life know she was thinking about them. Although we lived in different states she always put the time and effort into creating beautifully wrapped Christmas packages for my entire extended family. Each year a box would arrive weeks before Christmas and inside were individually wrapped, thoughtful gifts for each of us. One summer, my sister, Dawn, and I drove our 5 children up from San Francisco to visit Harry, Barbara and Eric. They were gracious hosts and showed us the sites they knew the children would enjoy seeing. They even spent an afternoon on the quacking duck tour. They were good sports!! When my Uncle Harry passed away, my husband and youngest son drove up from SF and once again my Aunt Barbara was gracious and accommodating even in a time of great sorrow. She had a remarkable way of staying calm and making those around her feel comfortable. Prayer and the friends in her church got her through many hard times- I'd like to thank her supportive, faithful friends from the church on behalf of our family you meant the world to my Aunt Barbara.
After a long medical struggle she is finally at peace with my uncle and up in heaven reading and doing crafts as she patiently waits for him to finish playing pool.
Aunt Barbara and Uncle Harry, you are both greatly missed, may you look down from heaven and know you made a positive impact on all of us. Eric, you are in all of our thoughts and prayers. Please know you are not alone and have many supportive family members that care about you.
With sincere and deepest sympathy,
Kristin, Christian, Carter, Meggie and Drew

Aunt Barbara,

We will miss you and your thoughtfulness. You were always so kind and caring and I only wish we had lived closer so we could have spent more time together.

Eric: our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May your wonderful memories of your mom help you through this and keep her alive in your heart always. She is with your dad now and she is at peace.

Love,
John, Jennifer, Abigail and Camden

Barbara, Was a dear Sister-In-Law who was a very special member of our family for 46 years. Barbara's thoughtfulness and kindness towards family members especially at Christmas time was something very much appreciated. Barbara was very much loved by family members because of her kindness and caring she showed towards others. Barbara will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate to have met or known her. Barbara is now in heaven with my brother Harry.

Barbara, I was so Happy when you married My "Big Brother", Harry, 45 years ago.
You meant the world to our family. I looked forward to our mutual visits. When you and Harry were on the East Coast we would
Drive to Maine, walk the beach and go to the Clambox.
Not to mention visiting all the family and Harry's and then your friends.

It was great to visit you in Seattle and be shown all that the Seattle area has to offer, meeting your family and etc

I looked forward to our 3 way calls that My Brother, Charlie, and I made for years to Harry and you and for the last 11-2 yrs. to you. That kept us united even though we were on seperate coasts.
My Sister (in- law), My Friend, I'll miss you dearly, however, you are no longer in pain and you will be forever in the arms of My Brother, Harry.

Love, Margaret
