Betty Maples Obituary
Born in St. Louis, Missouri August 26, 1928, Betty Maples passed away August 7, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was a longtime resident of West Seattle, WA.
Betty married the love of her life, John Maples, December 15, 1945. She spent her years running the family business with John. She enjoyed cooking and was happiest when she spent time with and took care of the people she loved most, her family.
An avid gardener, Betty was involved with her local garden club for many years. She knew the name of every plant she saw.
Betty is survived by her husband, John; son, John Jr.; grandchildren, Lisa, Teri, Corey and Beau; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Cole, Casey, Christian; great-great-grandson, Oliver; sisters, Carol and Arlene; brother, Charles; and sister-in-law, Wanda.
Betty was our foundation and the rock of our family.
