Kelly,
Reading the heartfelt comments from the people who were closest and shared much of their life with Bruce, I can plainly see he was someone who made a dfference in many people's lives. Bringing such goodness to this world, as described by all who have shared in his guestbook, is not a simple accomplishment. It seems he has left his footprint on the hearts of many. God bless you Kelly, your family, and close frends as you pass through this time of grief.

My boyhood best friend. From age 8 until our 20s, I was most alive writing with Bruce, performing with Bruce, and just being with Bruce.
With Bruce no longer here, there's one less reason to be attached to this planet. I wish I could have shared in his struggles later in life, like I was able so many times in the past to share in his happiness and joy.
Bill, Carolyn, Bill and Kelly, thank you for letting Laurie and I be a part of the celebration of the one who chose to "Celebrate Life!"
We'll be seeing you again soon, my friend.

Bruce was one of my closest friends from Jr. High through our undergrad years at the UW. I am still in shock that we lost him. Our last talk, a little over a year ago, was full of the usual humorous banter but also talk of dogs, God and teaching kids how to read. He was Bruce, full of life and that boyish adventurism that sometimes got us into trouble, could veer us towards the philosophical but always led to fun. Mr. and Mrs. McCulloch, Bill and Kelly I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through but just know that we all loved Bruce and for me a big piece of that fun in this life will now be missing.

Bruce was wonderful. I loved knowing him at Shoreline High, and seeing him throughout the years after. He was especially tolerant of me oogling him and thinking he was incredibly beautiful, inside and out. He was even a great sport about our band showing up where he works for a photo session and using him as our male model. I will definitely donate to WAIF in his memory.

Oh My. To his family, I am sorry for the pain you are feeling. I hope you find some comfort in that Bruce was a Christian.
I lived up the hill, on Densmore, from Parkwood days through Butler, Cordell and graduation in '78 from Shoreline. Bruce was a truly wonderful person to know while we were kids, and it sounds as if he was a truly wonderful adult also.

As a classmate of Bruce's from early days at Parkwood through our Graduation at Shoreline, I will always be grateful for Bruce's wonderful sense of humor and positive look at life. My most fond memory is of him telling stories in class, students and teacher waiting as we knew the punchline would be coming that would have us all in stitches. Thanks Bruce for the laughter!

I have just learned of Bruce's passing. While the grief we all feel is profound, it can never overpower the incredible memories we have of this remarkably talented man.
Not only was he a comic genius, he was a great friend and the funniest guy I've ever known.
