Celinda Ann Skott-Myhre

Celinda Ann SKOTT-MYHRE Peacefully passed at age 91 March 24, 2008 in Bellevue, WA of causes due to age. Born LDS 9/26/1916 in Ft. Bridger, WY. Developed a passion for knowledge and books & a fascination of Native American culture. Earned a Masters in Nutrition, BS in Home Economics. Married in 1950 to Nils Skott-Myhre. Gracious mother to 3 children instilling the importance of religion, education & independence. Involved her children in music, literature and theatre. Wrote & directed theatrical productions for church & community. Survived by husband; 3 children, Hans Skott-Myhre, Margaret Taboada and Tina DeMaggio; 9 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services on March 31, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - 14536 Main St., Bellevue, WA. Viewing at 12:00 p.m. Service at 1:00 p.m. Will rest in Sunset Hills Memorial Park. Memorial gift may be made to Providence Hospice of Seattle. Celinda will be remembered for her vivacious spirit and dedication to excellence. Her thoughtfulness and love will be forever in our hearts.
