I will always be grateful to Chuck for his friendship, warmth and humor and, most of all, trusting me with his story. With courage, honesty and compassion, he affected the lives of thousands of people across the country through the power of his story and the example of his life.

He will be missed!

Chuck broke our hearts as we watched him talk about his life with David, and you could tell how much he missed him. After 50 years together, they can be together again for all eternity. I hope your loss is tempered with that thought.

Thanks Mike for taking care of uncle Chuck and being his friend. He will be missed but yet all the love and wonderful memories of him and uncle Dave will remain. Uncle Chuck had the best sense of humor and always tried to see the bright side of everything and everybody. Thanks uncle Chuck! Love always, Susie
